Hello all. It’s been a while since I last published a blog, so as I’ve got nothing to do during this Covid-19 lockdown, I thought I’d correct that mistake and resurrect my blog.
I’m going to do that by returning to one of my favourite mini-blog series, My Next Phone.
You see, I’m coming up to the 2 year anniversary of owning my Galaxy S9 Plus, and so the time will soon come when I have to make another important decision – whether to keep it as my primary device, or get a newer phone and keep my S9 Plus as a secondary device.
2020 has already thrown us more surprises than Santa’s Sack, and as the year passes by and time goes on, it appears only to be getting worse.
Fortunately, I’ve been in mostly good health, although I have had to keep within the confines of my own house for much of the year, save for the odd walk into my back garden.
My social life is dead in the water, limited to just the occasional Skype call with my mates. To be fair, my Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and Galaxy Tab S5e have held up well, both respectively coming up to their 2 year and 1 year anniversaries, and they’ve got me through most of this lockdown.
But, it’s that 2 year anniversary that’s looming for the S9 Plus which is the reason for my resurrection of the My Next Phone blog series. My contract ends in November 2020, so I’ll be looking to upgrade by then.
I’ve gone about things a little differently this time. Instead of focusing on the internals like I did the first time I blogged about phones, this time around I’ll initially be sharing my thoughts on various important topics, and then comparing different smartphones, before ultimately reaching a decision.
I may touch on the internals later in the series, as I’m sure when I’ve got a few phones to consider, it’ll go down to the nitty-gritty details of the specifications of each phone to help with my decision.
So… without further ado, here comes the 2021 Edition of My Next Phone…
